Where Fireflies Dare

Where Fireflies Dare' follows a teacher from a AWES school who unexpectedly finds himself in the world of paratroopers, set against the stark deserts of Rajasthan and the dense jungles of the hilly terrain in the far northeast.

Selected for a special operation for his unique linguistic skills and adventurous spirit, he undergoes rigorous training with the Lightfoot unit, where he faces challenges that push his physical, mental limits.

As he adopts to military life, he wrestles with his identity, family expectations, his changing surroundings, circumstances. He faces a struggle trying to unify the different worlds, of a soldier, of a teacher, of a wanderer in search of spiritual salvation.
