Life doesn't always show up the way you expect it to.For most of her life, Lucy, seventeen, has known nothing of her birth parents, creating a myth of a young, struggling couple who wanted to give her a better chance at life - something the Moretti family provided. Lucy loves her parents and four siblings, so much that she worries they'll feel they're not enough if she broaches the subject of the family who might have loved her first.But then she stumbles upon a translucent man dressed as if he's from the 1800s, and she can't help but wonder who he is, why she's seeing him, and how on Earth she can look right through him.
