Being of the wrong race and sex, with limited experience, brilliant legal mind Maeko Samoya was fired from her prestigious all-black law firm Clinton and Barrett after racist convicted murderer Steven Hashenberg informed several major Media houses that she would represent him in his death penalty appeal for the murder of five black men. Against her mother's, her race, and history's warnings, Maeko took his death penalty appeal intending to expose the depth of racial hatred and its connection to various hate laws.
