Woman: Sacrament of God, sacrament of God's love -outward sign of a spiritual reality- of God's love for a priest; as perceived by a priest, by this priest who is Fr. Abelard: the Asturian who entered the Legion of Christ at fifteen years of age and who never lost his big heart. What happens when a priest falls head over heels in love and then tries to hold the tension between the attraction and the obligations that bind both him and his beloved? Could it be that in the strange friction a spiritual flame is lit? Could it be that the soul is sparked to life and rises to a higher level where God is somehow mysteriously tangible? Could there be a moment in which Woman, the original Eve, "a companion just like himself" , will spur Adam, Abelard, in the search for God and will actually be instrumental in finding Him?
