When young Jinny Burns first thought up the world of Hollowland it was as a means to escape her miserable life. Orphaned and at the mercy of her horrible half-brother, Samuel, Hollowland was a place of sanctuary where she imaged herself to be whenever things at Seven Oaks became unbearable. At least, that was what she thought. Having left Hollowland behind along with her childhood, it is not until years later that Jinny discovers her true identity. She is a Wordweaver, a rare storymaker whose writings actually come to life and that Hollowland is not only real, but she alone can save it from destruction at the hands of the evil Lord Viperian. Together with her allies, Jinny must fight to regain control of her creation and set right the wrongs caused by her absence, but with her wordweaving skills rendered powerless can she find the courage to lead her people into battle and give them all the happy ending they deserve?
