It is divided into three sectors, the first being, "God, Love, Peace & Music," a sequel to Gerald MacLennon's five-star "God, Bombs, Sex & Nam." This anthology covers the author's return home from military service in Vietnam, building a new life amid the zeitgeist of anti-war sentiment, assassinations, space travel and other technological triumphs... of music festivals and unprecedented cultural change. The main time period for "God, Love, Peace & Music," is 1968 to 1975 - the year U.S. involvement in Vietnam ended.In similar manner, MacLennon's "Sector 2 Poetry" and "Sector 3 Prose," represent the diversity of events and passages in his life from ages 15 through 69. Readers who have experienced great challenges in life - and who hasn't! - will relate to the author's ongoing combat with Angels of Darkness and, conversely, those golden moments when Angels of Light intervene to brighten our lives.Because of diminishing health, the author asked friends and family for personal prayers, good vibes and "focused intentions" in order that he be given just a little more time to properly edit, revise and add new material to "Wrestling with Angels: An Anthology...REVISED."
