Writing as a Visual Art

This work explores writing as a visual, multi-dimensional experience that is fun and common to everybody. Chapters examine how writing is akin to drawing, painting or designing and then present concepts such as "textual objects", "textual machines" and "shaping up text" as aids and techniques for effective writing. The book is the result of ten years' research in linguistics, cognition and artificial intelligence.
