Yearbook of Clinical Microbiology: 1992

The enormous quantity of scientific journals and papers presented at National and regional meetings has made it virtually impossible for the clinical microbiologist and infectious disease practitioner to keep pace with the current literature. This yearbook addresses this problem by presenting, in a single volume, a summary of this information for the year l991. The intent of the book is to highlight significant advances in technology as well as current concepts applied to the detection, interpretation, and susceptibility of microorganisms encountered in the clinical microbiology laboratory in addition to current research and trends in epidemiology.
