The book follows the Geoffrey brothers and their struggles with unhealed childhood traumas and the horrific choices they make in adulthood--these horrific choices are reflected in the lives of two women who are tried to the Geoffrey brothers. This is a story of generational trauma and the dark depths of human nature.
