You're Not a Mistake

Have experiences in life ever made you question if you were a mistake? Experiencing traumatic events in life could make one wonder that very thing. The good news is "You're not a Mistake!" None of us are. You are very much a part of God's plan; we just have to seek Him first about those plans that He has for us. For God says, "I know the plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). For He knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5). Consider every detail that had to be orchestrated to get us here. The fact of the matter is that we are here right now. In this day and age, life may or may not be certain at the time of conception, with the determining factor reliant upon the choice of the mother.

Numerous dynamics can affect this life, be it the choice to give life, spontaneous (unforeseen) loss, or termination. Everyone that is living and breathing upon the face of the earth has been offered the opportunity to live. Although the life I experienced growing up was not ideal, I'm grateful for the opportunity to change the trajectory of my life from whence it came. This has occurred only through and by the Blood of Jesus. We are chosen by God, and glory be to God for the opportunity to live the life He has given. My mother (as well as yours) opted to give us life, and despite the circumstances surrounding our beginnings, we can regulate and determine how our lives unfold by giving and living our lives through Christ Jesus.LaToya Jones is soaring high like the Eagle she is within the Kingdom of God for His glory.
