Yukio's First Day Out

In this work of fiction, a newly born Polar Bear cub and his siblings emerge from their den to explore the Arctic world. Accompanied by their mother, they discover other indigenous animals, the dangers of their frozen environment, and it's extraordinary beauty. Author and photographer, Liwen Tao, traveled to the wild Arctic tundra, including , Svalbard, Norway; Churchill, in Manitoba Canada; and Baffin Island, Canada, to capture (through original photos) life in the day of a Polar bear family in it's natural habitat.
