A Blanket of Stars

Emberly was always up for an adventure but after the unexpected death of her mother, the adventure placed in front of her was nothing that she wanted. The zoo in the backyard of her foster home in Hampton, Connecticut was oddly the most normal part of the home. Danger hid behind every corner, leaving Emberly and her twin siblings no other choice but to run away. The forest held its own challenges, questions and dangers but one thing was certain: Emberly was never going back. And she surely wouldn't let anyone into her heart in the meantime.
