A Kid Named Joey

A Kid Named Joey is one man's warm recollection of growing up in the 1940's and '50's, in the days when kids rode their bikes everywhere, dropped by the corner drugstore fountain for Cokes, played baseball till dark in each other's backyards, got paddled in school for bad behavior, and listened to radio programs before dinner every night. Joey grew up in a family where love was contagious and God was honored. His desire was to create a compilation of stories to answer the yet unasked questions of his numerous grandkids and great grandkids. Written with total honesty, the book is filled with humor that's hard to avoid.
