It is noted that a number of challenges have hampered the effective implementation of the access rights. Thus the book underscores these challenges and project on the way forward to effectively implement access rights in Uganda. This book reviews the socio-economic potential of the Albertine Graben; assesses the role of international law principles in the application of access rights; makes a detailed study of the importance of respecting access rights and the challenges there from; and makes a comparative analysis of the application of access rights in other areas. The book concludes by pointing out that the crucial issue in the effective application of access rights are still lacking.
