Ernest Thompson Seton (1860-1946) was a Scots/Canadian who later became a U S citizen. Seton was an author and wildlife artist who helped found the Boy Scouts of America. His notable books related to Scouting include The Birch Bark Roll and The Boy Scout Handbook. Seton is responsible for the inclusion of American Indian culture in the Boy Scout program.
