Claire Townsend has it all, a great job, her own shop in Brooklyn, until one night when she loses everything. With thirteen days to pay off a dangerous loan shark, she decides to partake in a black-market smuggling operation to save her own neck.

Bruno Canul is an archeologist who works as a consultant with the FBI. He chases a suspect to Belize only to find the ex-love-of-his-life as part of the crew. He can’t tell if he should trust Claire or if she’s joined forces with the smuggler.

Afraid her choices will get Bruno killed, Claire tries to resist falling back in love with him.  If she goes through with the smuggling scheme, she can pay off her loan, but she’d lose Bruno’s love and trust forever.  If she stands up for their love, she's a dead woman.
