Cheyenne might be locked into the world of politics on the Hill, but her real dream is to open a restaurant with her best friends. When the women in her office talk her into playing Monument Bingo, she could care less about the supposed prize. Instead, she’s ready to meet some guys and have fun.

Xander’s not like anyone she’s ever met. He’s sparked her culinary interests by enlisting her help to recreate Ancient Sumerian cuisine for an exhibit, and the food isn’t the only thing that’s getting hot in the kitchen.

But Cheyenne’s painful past makes maintaining a relationship more trouble than it’s worth. She’s happy with a guy for a night, but there’s no one she can trust long term… until Xander makes her reconsider. But is she ready for something real? 

And when controversy comes knocking, will Xander be there for her? Or will she lose out on her dreams… and the love of her life?
