Arty la Ferme

Arty on the Farm, is a bilingual French / English children's book covering the basic vocabulary of a farm and farm animals.  The story follows the adventures of Arty the cat (a cat with with an eye for art of all kinds) when he visits a farm and meets all the farm animals.  As he looks around the farm he suffers several mishaps but sees lots of things that he would change the colour of, or can use for an art installation.  At the end of the book he collects together all the things he has seen and builds a work of art in the farmyard!  The book is the same story in English and French with a vocabulary page in the centre.  The artist has deliberately left lots of the illustrations uncoloured so that children can complete the book, as they like, in their own arty way.
