Paul in I Timothy 3:15 called the church "a pillar and foundation of the truth". What you are going to discover as you read this book is a clear defense of the faith presented by Jesus and the apostolic authors. It's wrapped in the story of my personal journey over the last 35 years. In today's world deception has become so widespread that it affects all of us today and we are seeing the results of many departing from the rails of sound truth. In a world of confusion, distortion of facts, extremism and outright falsehood the church is supposed to be a place of sound truth. Sound doctrine produces healthy living and it is my desire as you read my story that your hearts will be captured by the God who became flesh. I am hoping that you get acquainted, intertwined and become a participant in His story. Just as the resurrected Christ shared the redemptive story with two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus, I pray that as you read this book your hearts will burn within you and you will reexamine Christ upon whom our faith is established.
