Commander Isaac Mann has committed the ultimate betrayal: he lied to me, his Captain, about who he was, and now he has to pay the price.

In spite of his vehement protests (or, as close to "vehement" as he can get...), the Commander is going back where he came from: the mysterious and technologically advanced Earth Omicron.

As soon as we land, though, our Tempus Crew is greeted by a group of hostile, indestructible androids that make logical, stoic, unfeeling Isaac look like a bubbly teen pop star.

It doesn't take long for me to realize that the real reason Isaac was so reluctant to go home may not have been to save his own synthetic skin, but to save mine. But is it too late to take back what I've done? Is it too late to find out whether his friendship was real or just the result of sparks and wires and manipulation?

And is it worth risking my life and the lives of my other shipmates to find out?
