Welcome to Darbyshire!

Greetings from Darbyshire, a town where some wacky and offensive characters live and interact.  This is the first book of the series, and introduces a handful of characters in stories where they have limited contact with one another, although they all live in the fictitious city of Darbyshire. 

'Darbyshire: Welcome to the Jungle' is the first title by Maverick Alexander, where he invites us to walk around in his imagination. Chances are you might find a favorite character or two within these first ten stories. Will you be drawn to the bold Brett Whiskers, or possibly the unapologettically brash raven, Damien? Or, will you have to hold out for the next book in the Darbyshire series to find your favorite?

We follow this motley crew through a wide range of experiences, as the stories are told in a politically incorrect, fantastical fashion.  These stories are fictional, satirical, purposefully hyperbolic, and not meant to be taken too seriously. 

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events, locales, or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.
