Daughters Muses

When I discovered that I possessed a genuine flair for poetical writing I wanted to cherish this ability with love; I wanted my gift of writing to become something far more than just a skilled hobby used to fill slight voids of boredom but yet more like a vast adventure in my life. But along with ascending towards heights where my imagination could take me, I then found out something that made me smile in admiration. I discovered that Mariah Brooker my wonderful daughter had also inherited the skill for poetic writing. My daughter made my heart soar with glee because I am a third-generation poet, and that would make my lovely daughter the 4th generation of poets within our family. That truly makes a mother proud to have our legacy carried on within her authorship.

The creation of this book was inspired by many in-depth thoughts that were pondered, penned, or typed with words forming its purity and becoming what you read today, "Daughters Muses." I want our book to bring a balance of grace and creative transformation; so just let your conscious of feathered wings be thrown open into the great heights of self-discovery, euphoria, and dicey waters. My daughter and I have placed some of our greatest pieces upon these pages to ensure that your imagination is intrigued. You will also get to know the rare parts of our mind as well as lay your eyes on some collaborative pieces from some great writers that I have worked with and befriended.
