Daughters of Science: A Memoir

What is the purpose of seeking the truth when you don't want to know the answer? Rachel and Kendra McRae are the product of two prolific scientists. After a bitter divorce, the fiercely intelligent mother becomes obsessed with control, legally pursuing those who would cross her. The dysfunction escalates until Rachel and Kendra equate independence with freedom and freedom with truth. At the base of this story is a message that a certain type of childhood leads to a certain type of adulthood. Rachel and Kendra must move past nature vs. nurture and seek experiences, however unconventional, that will test their theories of life.
