Der Gott des Lebens

The title of the essay collection expresses that the God of Israel is a "god of life" who saves from death and leads to life. This perspective is particularly developed in the second and third parts of the volume based on the Old Testament concept of justice and anthropology. In the first and fourth part, contributions to the biblical world view and to biblical hermeneutics are compiled, which are loosely connected to the basic topic, but are also committed to the motive of the "God of Life".
