Empty Heart

I wrote *Dera's Journey* to explore the emotional struggles of a woman who has endured heartbreak and carries the scars of her past relationships. I wanted to capture Dera's decision to shield herself from love, focusing instead on her own healing and self-recovery after the dissolution of a painful relationship. Her vow to avoid emotional vulnerability reflects the profound impact of her past experiences and her resolve to protect her heart.

I sought to portray the transformation that begins when Dera meets Adam, a kind and genuine man whose warmth challenges her guarded nature. I wanted to show how their growing connection forces Dera to confront the emotional walls she has built over the years. Despite her fear and self-doubt, she starts to recognize the possibility of opening her heart again.

I aimed to depict Dera's journey of facing her past and the emotional wounds that haunt her.
