When brilliant, highly disciplined young danseur Jule Parry leaves England to audition in New York, its expected hell join the most prestigious company around. Instead, he finds himself a member of a young, nontraditional company that ruffles the feathers of the ballet establishment. Jule is sheltered and nave, and despite his excellent training, the sudden changes in his life throw him off balance.
