Havilah's Gold

Bellam, Texas, was a safe place to live, or at least it should have been. By all appearances, on this side of the veil separating the seen from the unseen realms, all was well. It's easy to believe that what you see is what's real until everything you know for certain becomes suddenly and terrifyingly untrue. Corrie Callahan is the youngest of three siblings who are dropped at their grandparents' front door after their father's sudden death. A determined 12-year-old, Corrie sets out to find their mother, with or without her brothers' help. When she finds a mysterious gold medallion and three odd companions, her plans derail, and all hell breaks loose. All options lead to death as she fights against humankind's oldest enemy in a race to the end of the age.
