Structure, Scope and Decision-Making Competences of the Armed Forces for the Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany«: Recent or resurgent threat scenarios, such as terrorism, cyberwarfare or new ones as the Russian war of aggression cause necessity to constantly re-examine the concept of defense and its accompanying additional competences of the German armed forces. For this purpose, the operational powers are concretized in an individual and overall systematic view. Additionally the review is framed by a consideration of the corresponding decision-making competences.
