»Bodily Self-Determination. The Protection of Bodily Autonomy under German Fundamental Rights in the Light of >Human Enhancement<«: The work examines the debate on »human enhancement« and analyses it in terms of German constitutional law and the protection of bodily freedoms. Results: The constitutional protection of body-related freedoms follows two principles: that of physical integrity and that of bodily autonomy. A fundamental right to bodily self-determination is not only necessary in order to regulate future technologies. It sheds light on the overall concept of body-related freedoms in the German constitution.
