Letters from Linc

In her trio of friends, Erica is the responsible one. Painfully shy, and the son of a Baptist minister, Linc is an unlikely Marine. The moment their eyes meet, it's love at first sight.

With Linc's imminent and lengthy deployment to Iraq threatening to end their blossoming romance, Linc makes Erica what seems like an impossible promise: if she'll marry him before he leaves, he'll come home alive.

One week later, Linc is gone. During his absence, they trade a series of deeply personal letters as a way to bridge the distance between them.
