Enid Stafford and her family have survived the repercussions of a sneak attack on the United States. Now, nearly three years later, the US and their small part of it is returning to normal.

This is the sequel to Finding Home, Enid's story of her and her children's struggle to find a new place and new lives in what to her had become an entirely foreign world.

Life's Celebrations further chronicles Enid's epiphany of love, trust, and acceptance. It's been a roller-coaster ride for her and her children, and in some ways, the return to the modern world is as difficult as the transition to self-sufficiency had been.

Enid is determined to succeed and finds she is stronger than she ever imagined she could be and uses that strength to sustain her family, her community, and herself.
