Literatura, poltica y sociedad: construcciones de sentido en la Hispanoamrica contempornea

Para Andrs Avellaneda, la prctica literaria y la prctica poltica han sido, y siguen siendo, reas inseparables en el estudio de la cultura letrada latinoamericana. A lo largo de su carrera como crtico y docente, tanto en sus textos como en mltiples intervenciones acadmicas, jams perdi de vista los conflictos de poder y las condiciones materiales de la regin, a la vez que ha sabido manejar los matices que se imponen sutilmente en el anlisis literario. Por todo ello, y por tanto ms, con este volumen celebramos y agradecemos lo que ya nos ha dado y lo mucho que seguramente aportar en aos venideros.
