Los zapaticos de rosa

"Los zapaticos de rosa" was a poem first published in 1889 in the third edition of La Edad de Oro, a magazine created by José Marti for the children of the world. With a simple language full of beautiful, moving images that contrast the everyday life of two girls who live in opposite realities, Martí makes us reflect on compassion and humanism. In its validity, this work constitutes an obligatory classic of children's literature.
