Mazes for the Young and Old

Mazes are puzzles that stimulate basic cognitive functions. They can be used as a diversion or mental challenge. They can be solved with pencil and paper, without an electronic interface. They do not require skills of reading or writing. For these reasons the authors feel that mazes can be useful in the mental development of children. Mazes have been a part of human culture for centuries, and have a wide appeal. Mazes often appear in newspapers and magazines. However, serious mazesolvers, and persons using mazes as a form of recreation, would require a compilation of mazes to occupy their minds. This book is intended to supply this need. There are many simple mazes which can be used to build confidence in children. There are also some harder ones that will be more challenging.
