As victims of any form of abuse-be it emotional, mental, physical, or sexual-we are brainwashed by our tormentors to believe that not only do we deserve what we are getting, but also that we are alone. We're told no one will believe us or, if we tell, we will be the ones blamed.



This is what the monsters who torments us want us to believe, so they carefully groom us to be quiet and compliant. Silence is their best weapon and their protection.



I finally, through faith, found the courage to raise my voice and to share my story of the years of abuse I was subjected to. By doing so, I took away their power over me.



I hope that in reading my story, you, dear reader, will see that you are not alone, that you never have been because there's others just like you.



Once you have read about my journey, I sincerely hope that you will find your own courage, faith, and strength to raise your voice against the abuse the innocents are suffering each and every day.
