In this reflective memoir, the author shares the rural lifestyle she lived as a child in Central Alberta, Canada, during and after the world-wide Great Depression of the 1930s. Discover what it was like for the author to grow up at the end of an era when most farm houses had no electricity, no running water, no telephones, and when most farmers were still using horses to farm their land.
