Reconstructing Early Intervention after Trauma

This book describes and explains early reactions experienced by those exposed to trauma and offers specific recommendations about the types of help and support that will be welcomed by survivors and their families. With the aim of improving provision for survivors of recent trauma this book redefines the ground rules for psychological first aid, promotes evidence-based practice and encourages further research.
