Renewed Engagement

One of the best and most important decisions is to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Engaging in this new life in Christ brings great joy and spiritual reward to one’s life. In the initial excitement of this new journey, we may have established regular times of seeking the Lord. But, life happens. We grow busy with daily tasks and responsibilities related to family, work, or school. We get distracted away from the quiet and secret place with our Lord, and the relationship begins to wane and wax cold. Nevertheless, we have an opportunity to establish a renewed engagement, where we regularly meet with our first love: our Lord.
