Research scientist and editor of the Hindi poetry website Kaavyaalaya, Dr. Vinod Tewary sees poetry in science and science in poetry. Since childhood, he has always turned to poetry to express his innermost self.

This book is a compilation of his poems—reflections of the truth and dreams of a life journey of over 70 years. Love, pain, faith in life, love for one’s homeland, social awareness, humor and devotion—these exquisite poems have been crafted in the colors of all these tender emotions. Along with the poems, these emotions have been brought alive by Vani Murarka’s artwork.

The poems and ghazals are compiled into 3 sections: ‘Ek ehsaas hai umr bhar ke liye’, ‘Kuchh bharosaa to hai ujaalon par (Ghazals)’ and ‘Mere madhuvan jiyo jug jug.’
