Corruption in the white house and their weaponized virus led to world war three. If things could not get worse the Vice President was put in charge and signed a treaty with Russia and Germany allowing them to invade the United States. Then the country was divided into sections called pods and martial law was put in effect. The United States' last hope is that a group of people led by a private school teacher and  former President Carson's daughter. Can this group of underdog rebellions drive out the darkness that has overtaken their country.
