James Smith is the sheriff of a small town in Texas. His wife, Lara, is a member of the church, but he has no interest in a "God that doesn't exist." A date night that Lara doesn't show up to takes a turn. A past James thought was buried returns to haunt him. Will he turn to this God that he doesn't believe in, or will it be too late?
