5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

5:2 Și a deschis gura și i-a învățat, zicând:

5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

5:3 Fericiți cei săraci cu duhul, căci a lor este împărăția cerurilor.

5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5:4 Fericiţi cei ce plâng, căci vor fi mângâiaţi.

5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

5:5 Fericiți cei blânzi, căci ei vor moșteni pământul.

5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

5:6 Fericiți cei flămânzi și însetați după dreptate, căci vor fi săturați.
