This is a nonfictional work exploring topics on research science, including ideas on how to do research, how to become a real scientist, how to apply the thinking arts in the field of research science, as well as discussions of the pros and cons of the current research systems. Specifically, the focus is on how to develop irrational thinking such as intuition, inspiration, insight and imagination to apply to research science. The author is keen to share knowledge gathered over a long career to help current and aspiring research scientists - a group predominantly made up of but not limited to undergraduate and graduate students, post-doctorates, professors as well as anyone working for corporate or administrative agencies associated with science.
