Jasmine Peirce was doomed from the day she watched her mother die in her arms. At nine years old, she was taken away into an orphanage, and from there, disaster and trouble struck. Darkness seemed to follow her every move, leaving her unable to defend herself. With her innocence taken away from an unknown monster, before she reached her sixteenth birthday, she found that being paralyzed was not the only thing this unknown monster left her to deal with in the poverty-stricken country.
