The Frontier War

With incomprehensible distances filled with nothingness, it can get boring in space. It's cold, dark, and tedious. But can it be boring in the middle of a war? Daniel Crimson has joined the Fleet once again as the tentative relationship between Regenta and Faruzia breaks down and the two adversaries crash head-to-head into conflict. But in this war, it's not all about battles and victories. Daniel has been reinstated at the lowest of officer ranks and stationed aboard a small corvette that patrols a zone far, far from the war zone. His squadron-mates are already tired of the boredom and it's not long before he succumbs, while in the heart of the war, Daniel's friend Linsi racks up kill after kill as an ace Hydra pilot. Daniel yearns to get into the battles. But everyone knows, war only ever brings death, destruction, and an end to complacent life as it's known.
