This book would be of interest not only to lawyers but also to policymakers and legal historians. About the author: James M. Branum is a solo attorney in Oklahoma. He also serves as the Minister of Peace & Justice of Joy Mennonite Church in Oklahoma City and as the advising attorney of the Oklahoma Center for Conscience and Peace Research. He is a past chair of the Military Law Task Force of the National Lawyers Guild. He has taught continuing legal education seminars on a variety of topics in several states. He was the named one of the 2010 "Legal Rebels" by the American Bar Journal. He is the author of the book US Army AWOL Defense: A Practice Guide and Formbook.
