The Leaving

Earth abides only Time. It serves no other master. Spinning on its axis as it circles the sun, registering one moment to the next, Earth is a reminder that while the cosmos may seem limitless, nothing lasts forever. Its grim beauty lay in a binary simplicity from which there is no escape: Time begets Time. Life begets Death.

This last installment to the "Timer" series reunites JD Walters and Lisa Valentine in their final rendezvous to a rustic shiplap cabin in the Santa Ynez Mountains high above California's historic coastal town of Santa Barbara. Having lived for nearly three hundred years due to a secret life-extending formula, JD and Lisa now face Time's inevitability.
