Listen to the drum of the ancients and sink deep into the darkest depths of your pain; listen to the song of the ghosts that haunt you; feel the torment as your will is so painfully stretched, then watch it all fall to dust. Now, hush. Later, you will find solace in the softness of the mornings, and begin to mend by the sea. You'll soon be free, and when you're done, you will find home.

Note from the author: This book was written before my bipolar treatment and contains heavily graphic pieces that might be uncomfortable for some to read. That said, this is an ode to where I once came from and I hope you'll enjoy the ride.
