The Uris Trinity: The father, the son and the trophy wife

Michael currently lives on the Monterey Peninsula, the same natural setting that inspired John Steinbeck. Having had a lifelong working association with his novelist father Leon Uris, Michael grew up in a literary atmosphere some may consider privileged. As with everything in life, he experienced equal shares of happiness and heartbreak, honor and disgrace. Michael assisted his father with interviews and research, and this facilitated the evolution of his own writing process.
