Warriors for Jesus: Skill 6: Using Your Gifts in the World

Warriors for Jesus teaches Biblical life skills in this series of nine books, for elementary age children, so that in our challenging world they are equipped with the necessary disciplines of peaceful spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:10 - 18). This book, Warriors for Jesus, Skill 6: Using Your Gifts in the World, provides teaching on tithing, volunteering, voting, community service, and being a good steward of our time, talents, interests, and abilities. Barbara W. Rogers, PhD, EdS, is a mother and grandmother who has served in various ministries since age twelve. In addition to many years of ministry within congregations, she wrote Sunday school lessons for Urban Ministries, Inc. of Chicago during ten years as a stay-at-home mom. And, later, she wrote the activity books God Rescues His People and God's Chosen King for the Herald Press Story Bible Series. As Founder of Christian Life Skills, Inc. her passion is providing resources that encourage children, youth, and families to develop lives pleasing to God in our challenging world. Barbara lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, Dr. John A. Rogers. They have two children and four grandchildren.
